Past Performance Questionnaire (PPQ)
A form sent to prior customers asking them to rate a contractor's performance, used when CPARS data is unavailable.
A PPQ collects performance ratings directly from a reference, typically for commercial contracts or subcontracts that never entered CPARS. Solicitations often specify the form, the recipient, and whether the reference must return it directly to the government. Send PPQs early — chasing a reference in the final week is a common cause of an incomplete past-performance volume.
