WOSB / EDWOSB
Women-Owned Small Business / Economically Disadvantaged WOSB — SBA programs setting aside contracts for women-owned firms.
The Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and Economically Disadvantaged WOSB (EDWOSB) federal contracting programs set aside competition for firms that are at least 51% owned and controlled by U.S. citizen women. EDWOSB adds an economic-disadvantage test. Certification is done through SBA's platform at certify.sba.gov. WOSB set-asides apply in NAICS codes where women-owned firms are underrepresented; EDWOSB applies in the broader set.
