SBA Size Standard

The revenue or employee ceiling, set per NAICS code, below which a business qualifies as small.

SBA size standards are defined per NAICS code — some as average annual receipts, others as employee count. The standard that governs a bid is the one attached to the solicitation's NAICS code, not your primary NAICS. A company can therefore be small for one opportunity and other than small for another on the same day. Size is calculated including affiliates.
