Discussions
Negotiations with offerors in the competitive range that allow proposals to be revised.
Discussions are exchanges intended to let offerors improve their proposals. The government must raise deficiencies and significant weaknesses with each offeror in the competitive range. Discussions are distinct from clarifications, which are limited exchanges that do not permit proposal revision. If discussions occur, expect Evaluation Notices (ENs) followed by a Final Proposal Revision deadline.
