IDIQ

Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity — a multi-award contract that establishes terms under which agencies issue task or delivery orders.

An Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract establishes terms, rates, and ceiling values between the government and one or more contractors. Actual work is ordered through task orders (services) or delivery orders (supplies) over the contract's period of performance. Multi-award IDIQs force holders to compete for individual task orders — so winning an IDIQ seat is only the beginning. Examples: OASIS+, CIO-SP4, SEWP VI, Alliant 2.
