Trade Agreements Act (TAA)

The law permitting products from designated countries and barring products from non-designated ones above certain thresholds.

Above defined dollar thresholds, the Trade Agreements Act displaces Buy American requirements and permits end products from designated countries while prohibiting those from non-designated countries. TAA compliance is a recurring issue on GSA Schedule contracts, where every product offered must be TAA-compliant.
