PSC Code

Product Service Code — a four-character federal code that describes the product or service being acquired.

Product Service Codes (PSCs), sometimes called Federal Supply Classification (FSC) codes, are four-character identifiers used alongside NAICS codes in federal solicitations to describe the specific product or service. PSCs are more granular than NAICS for services and products (e.g., D316 = IT and Telecom - Database Planning and Design). Savvy bidders track both NAICS and PSC codes to find opportunities — some agencies categorize work primarily by PSC.
