Entity Validation
The SAM.gov process confirming a business's legal name and physical address before registration completes.
Entity validation verifies legal business name and physical address against documentation before SAM.gov issues a Unique Entity ID. Mismatches between incorporation documents, IRS records, and the SAM.gov submission are the single most common cause of registration delay — align them before starting rather than resolving tickets afterwards.
