Teaming Agreement
An agreement between firms to pursue an opportunity together, typically as prime and subcontractor.
A teaming agreement records who will prime, the intended scope split, exclusivity, and what happens on award. It is signed before the proposal, but it is not itself a subcontract — the subcontract is negotiated after award. Ambiguous work-share language in a teaming agreement is a frequent source of post-award disputes; define scope concretely.
